Seventh Annual Quilt-Rs & Craft-Rs Market on Tap

On August 29th, HOPE.wrx will host the seventh annual Quilt-Rs & Craft-Rs Market, which will raise funds for the HOPE.wrx Food Pantry and offer metro area quilters and crafters alike a venue to sell their excess supplies, unfinished projects, and extra materials, tools, patterns, and books.

With a theme of “Reduce, Recycle, Repurpose, Reuse,” the annual Market welcomes hundreds of people from across the metro area who find bargains in the gymnasium at Hillside Christian Church, 900 N.E. Vivion Rd.. The Market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until everything is sold, and both a bake sale and lunch window will be held in conjunction with the event. Admittance to $2.00 per person.

Booth space is still available! This year, 10’ x 10’ booth spaces are $20 each, and include a table and two chairs. Sellers are welcome to share space, and more than one booth space may be purchased. For a seller application, or additional information, contact Lucy Perry, or 816-916-7580.

Want to get rid of your unwanted quilting/crafting supplies but don’t want to take a booth?

Beginning Aug. 1st, donations of gently used materials, supplies, tools, and patterns will be collected at Hillside Christian Church.
