HOPE.wrx is a non-profit charitable organization serving inner Northland Kansas City neighborhoods. Hope.wrx operates a Food Pantry out of Hillside Christian Church at 900 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, Missouri.

Along with the Food Pantry, HOPE.wrx also collects gently used coats, school supplies and backpacks to hand out to children in need.

Family Food Packs

HOPE.wrx assists families with food for the weekends during the school year. This program is known by several names and is available to the children attending schools in the North Kansas City School District.  We serve the following:*

•  Crestview Elementary
•  Topping Elementary
•  Meadowbrook Elementary
•  Bell Prairie Elementary 
•  Northgate Middle School

All families who participate in this program are referred to HOPE.wrx by the participating school. If you are interested in applying, you must contact the school where your child is enrolled. We provide such items as spaghetti, vegetables, fruit, popcorn, pudding, oatmeal, peanut butter, soups, tuna, rice and bread.

Dedicated volunteers clean, load and deliver back packs with food each week during the school year.

* HOPE.wrx services these fve schools. Other schools may or may not have similar programs. Please see your school's counselor to apply.
